DESIGN OF SMART METER USING ATMEL 89S52 MICROCONTROLLER

Summary of Reported Research :
-        >  The SMS based electricity energy meter billing system using GSM modem was implemented, to let     the consumer know electricity bill has reached a certain threshold.
-        >  The system can measure the electricity that we use and also the bill that we have to pay via Short         Message Services (SMS)
-       >   This system can further be developed

Strength of reported Invention :
-        >  Gives new experience for users to using another features of SMS
-        >  More effective and efficient because we don’t need to go outside just for checking our electricity         bill. Only by our handheld.
-         >   AT89S52 has a faster programming time than 8051.
-         >   AT89S52 gives better endurance and bigger RAM than 8051

Weakness of reported Invention :
-        >   This application off course need strength signal from provider, if our environment not capable to          receive good signal, then we can’t receive the information by SMS.
-        >    SMS are rarely use by people nowadays.
